Weathered color, organic texture and touches of gold come together in the Verdigris & Gold Collection.
Layers of blue-green, soft turquoise, muted sage, cream and earthy gray move through the original hand-painted papers, with subtle metallic accents. Each piece has the feeling of something discovered rather than simply made.
Each piece begins with original hand-painted and mixed media paper created in my studio. Small sections are selected, cut, shaped and sealed beneath layers of resin, preserving the marks, colors and textures of the original artwork Because every piece is cut from a different area of the painting, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
